The Algarve is not only a popular holiday choice during the summer months, Winter has always been a favourite time for many visitors.

Generally the sky is blue and although the temperatures do drop in comparison to the summer months, the average winter temperatures in the Algarve are around 16 Centigrade 60 Farenheit.

Light jackets are all that is required, as you stroll along a quiet beach, play a round of golf on one of the numerous top class courses or sit in one of the friendly cafes or restaurants and watch the world go by.

Although some businesses close for the winter there is always somewhere to go and meet up with the locals who love this quieter time of year, where the pace of life has slowed down and batteries are being recharged after a busy summer season.
