A spacious, countryside retreat, perfect for large family groups of up to 13 people. The rural, hillside location, makes for wonderful, 360° panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, laden with almond, olive and carob trees, and the unique Eastern Algarve coastline, incorporating the beautiful, Ria Formosa natural park.

The villa is approximately 17km from Faro airport and the nearest beach, Praia da Fuseta Ria is 13km away, where you will find some lovely typical Portuguese restaurants and cafes. 5km west is the village of Estoi, with several local restaurants, some small supermarkets and shops and a church. Estoi is well known for its nearby Roman ruins of Milreu and stunning pink Palace and romantic gardens which now houses a small hotel. The coastal town of Olhao, with its fabulous fish market and ferry boats to take you to the barrier islands within the Ria Formosa, Armona, Culatra and Farol, is 8km away. Easy access to Faro, Loule and Vilamoura is via the A22 which is easily reached from the villa.

 

The property has seven bedrooms in total, split between the main house and two self-contained apartments, situated within a large, enclosed estate. A calm and secluded space allowing the whole family to enjoy quality time together in beautiful surroundings.

The property is tastefully decorated and comfortable with a homely feel. The house is alarmed and benefits from air conditioning in the bedrooms, ceiling fans in the living room and fibre internet throughout. Air source radiators provide heating during the cooler months

Parking for multiple vehicles is provided on the private driveway and two car ports.

Main House

Living accommodation

The main villa consists of an open plan living space and 4 bedrooms.

The bright and spacious living room is furnished with comfortable leather sofas and has a large TV with IPTV channels including all your favourites, such as BBC, ITV & Sky Sports.  The dining area has tables and chairs to seat 14 people. 2 sets of triple bifold doors open out to the poolside covered terrace.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge, separate freezer, two ovens, an induction hob & extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer, espresso coffee machine and all the crockery and utensils you would expect from a quality self-catering villa.

Sleeping accommodation

2 bedrooms are located on the first floor, both with air conditioning, blue tooth speakers and fitted wardrobes.

Bedroom 1, the large master bedroom with 2.2m waterbed. This bedroom has a TV and access to two private terraces for sunbathing and enjoying the lovely coastal views. The large en suite bathroom has a corner bath and spacious walk-in shower.

Bedroom 2 is a twin room with patio doors out to a terrace overlooking the pool and garden. There is an en suite shower room.

2 bedrooms are located on the ground floor, both with air conditioning, blue tooth speakers and fitted wardrobes.

Bedroom 3 is a double room with en suite bathroom with overhead shower and patio doors leading out to the pool area.

Bedroom 4 is a spacious twin room with patio doors out to the pool area. Bedroom 4 has use of a separate shower room located across the hallway. This shower room has been fitted out with a specialised sink, support for the WC and seat in the accessible shower to assist people with disabilities.

Games room

Located at the front of the property in a separate building is the well-equipped games room with table tennis & air hockey tables, a darts board, comfortable bean bag seating & TV with Play Station 4 including a selection of games.

Two bedroom apartment

Accessed via its own front door, next to the main house, this 2 bedroom apartment can accommodate 3 to 4 people. The apartment has an open plan living room with kitchenette including a fridge freezer, oven, electric hob, kettle, and toaster. There is a small dining table and chairs, a sofa, and a Smart TV. An external door in the living room leads directly out to the pool area.

There is an air-conditioned, double bedroom with ensuite shower room, the other bedroom, also air conditioned, has a single bed which has a pull-out bed underneath that can make it into a double suitable for two children.

One bedroom apartment

Located down an external set of stairs, with its own entrance, this one bedroom apartment has an open plan living room with lounge area including a smart TV, dining area and a well-equipped kitchenette, with a fridge freezer, oven, electric hob, kettle, and toaster. The spacious bedroom has a double bed. There is an en suite shower room.

Outside space

With a location like this, it is all about the outside space and the magnificent views. The plentiful grounds of this property are very well maintained and totally enclosed with fencing. There are a variety of native plants including various fruit trees, palm trees and succulents. Due to the hillside location, the garden is built over multiple levels with beautiful stone walls forming the foundation of the terraces. The large main terrace benefits from an elevated position and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and coastline beyond. The poolside BBQ area is the perfect place to watch the sunset as you dine, with not one, but two charcoal barbecues, ideal for preparing large family meals. The swimming pool, measuring 13m x 6m can be heated at a supplement. Outdoor furniture including lounge and dining is provided as well as sun loungers and parasols. There is a grass area next to the pool terrace. A full size pétanque court provides hours of fun for all the family.

    Pool heating is available at a supplement of £250 per week.

    PLEASE NOTE: In Faro there is a Tourist tax payable between March & October, the rate costs 1.50 euros per person from the age of 12 and is applied for up to a maximum of seven consecutive nights. This Tax will be collected in cash by the Villa Manager during your stay.

    How to Book your Holiday

    A 25% deposit payment of the holiday price is required in order to secure your booking. We will then send you a booking confirmation and request your full details and travel details.

    The balance payment plus refundable damage deposit is due ten weeks prior to travel. You will receive a reminder by email.

    When we have received the balance payment we will send you the directions to the property and arrival instructions.
