We have often looked up at this villa from the beach and wondered what it would be like to stay there. This year we finally decided to take the plunge and booked our second week in Portugal at this villa. It did not disappoint. The location is exceptional - just a short walk to the beach - and the villa itself is vast, meaning almost the entire family could join us. It's beautifully equipped, the bedrooms are large and very comfortable, and the pool is perfect for relaxing. The view is truly breathtaking, something we never tired of. The five-day maid service was a bonus, and the three ladies who came were not only efficient but also warm and friendly, which made the stay feel even more special. That said, this is a house on a grand scale. With so many rooms - a chapel, two living rooms, and even a TV room we never used - it sometimes felt a little less intimate than other villas we've stayed in. The kitchen is on the smaller side compared to the rest of the house, and while there is a barbecue, it's not ideally sized or located for big family meals. All in all, Casa Infanta is a villa for a treat: perfect for groups who value space, privacy, and easy access to a fabulous beach and excellent restaurants. For us, it felt a touch less relaxed than some equally big villas, but as a luxurious base for a family holiday, it was truly memorable. Plus the management from Rent Villas Algarve and the housekeeper and villa manager was fantastic.
A fabulous place for our family celebration at Easter,
three generations with children of varying ages. Delightful
spacious house, interestingly and comfortably furnished in a superb
setting within walking distance of gorgeous sandy
beaches.
Carol and Sharon at Rent Villas were most helpful in the
choice of property, making the necessary arrangements for our stay
and supporting us throughout.
Recommended place to eat and relax Restaurante O Molhe - in
easy walking distance along the coast path. Also enjoyed kayaking
to caves at Benagil and Museu di Portimao.
