Victoria - 18 hole|Par 72|6,609m

Victoria course was founded in 2004 and is the 5th golf course in Vilamoura. The course was designed by Architect, Arnold Palmer, whose ambitious project involved creating 18 greens of different shapes and sizes, one of the courses distinguishing characteristics. This led to Victoria becoming the region's major venue for top international tournaments, including The Portugal Masters, one of the European Tours most prestigious events.

The Par 72 18-hole course has a total area of 90 hectares of existing wetland, including carob, olives and almond trees, and several man-made lakes which not only act as water hazards, but are also positioned to serve as water reservoirs for course irrigation. The course has 5/6 tees per hole, and the wide, undulating fairways, numerous water obstacles and well positioned bunkers will reward the ambitious golfer.

There are some outstanding holes, including the 3rd and 7th, but it is the back 9 where things really get going. Attention is required as you approach the green from the 12th fairway, which is guarded on one side by a lake and the other by well-placed bunkers. The choice is yours at the unique double fairway at the 14th and the 18th is a classic finishing hole, one of the best in the Algarve.
