Quinta do Lago North Golf course, which originally opened in 1974, has undergone extensive remodelling recently. The skills of course architect, Beau Wellings, alongside Paul McGinley, have made a huge impact on the quality of the course.

The Par 72, 18-hole course, now has wider fairways and more accessible greens, fringed with attractive wispy grasses. Golfers putting strokes are challenged with slopes and subtle burrows and the 18th hole is now one of the best finishing holes in the area.
